Our client, a leading national main contractor is looking for a Bid Manager. This role is very ‘hands on’ and the appropriate candidate will run their own tenders largely independently. You will be responsible for managing a team, both internal and external consultants, estimating, measurement, design and build, preparation of quality bid submission documents, attending interviews and participating in presentations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working for a similar main contractor, be commercially aware, the ability to work to project targets/deadlines, and have excellent communication and team management skills.
