Planning Manager

Our client, a leading national main contractor seeks a Planning Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for leading the planning department, for managing the project planning, comprising programming, progress monitoring, information flow, procurement and the site construction works. In order to carry out the role effectively, it will be necessary to liaise with all parties including the client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities on all matters relating to planning and programming. Duties will also include chairing planning meetings together with the preparation and presenting reports in respect to planning the project. The planner manager will be expected to contribute to progress control as a member of the project team and assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress. The ideal candidate will be from a similar main contracting background.
