Engineer and Senior Engineer

Our client, a national building contractor has exciting opportunities for a setting out Engineer and also a Senior Engineer to work on a variety projects in the Manchester area including, Retail, Residential, Commercial, Hotel and leisure scheme. The role of Engineer involves setting out the main grid of the project, ensuring accurate translation of co-ordinates, identifying raise, resolve and record technical queries and items of extended scope. You will be involved in the day to day liaison and co-ordination with the client or his representative, plan, co-ordinate and prepare construction programmes as required, prepare material take offs, price comparisons and order materials as required, managing and maintaining document control systems for construction information and the day to day care and maintenance of survey equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and previous experience of working on similar projects up to the value of £15m.
