Design Manager

 An experienced Design Manager is required for one of the leading construction companies in the UK. The role will be based out of their North West office in Lancashire although you will be also visiting sites which are currently mainly located in central/south Manchester.The role will involve the following; 

• Bid Design Management:
• Preparing proposed design management strategy
• Reviewing design documents
• Monitoring design costs and recording design changes
• Preparing contractor's proposal
• Project Design Management:
• Reviewing contract design documents
• Finalising schedules for design appointments
• Monitoring and obtaining consents and statutory approvals
• Monitor and manage design elements of Project Risk Register

 You will be involved in a mixture of work including commercial, residential, education and hotels with project values of up to £50 million.
