Our Client, a leading UK building and Civil Engineering contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing gains in purchasing deals and providing advantageous pricing and sourcing information to Estimators at Tender stage. Concluding materials and sub contract orders to, or under budget, with competent Vendors whilst managing purchasing tasks in materials and sub contracts. Contribute perpetually to supply chain membership, performance measurement criteria. The ideal candidate will have a CIPS and be HNC/HND qualified and good negotiation and communication skills are essential. A full job profile for this role is available on request.
