Estimators

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator within a regional forward thinking contactor operating in various market sectors with both blue chip and local clients. The successful candidate will be working within the existing Estimating Department, producing analytical tenders ranging in value up to approx £20m. Previous experience of producing tenders from drawings and specification, Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works and Design and Build experience is desirable. General IT skills in MS Outlook and Excel required and Causeway Estimating software experience would also be preferable. Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise directly with both clients and designers are essential.

A Senior Estimator is required for a top ten contractor to be based out of their regional office in Manchester.  You will be responsible for tendering new build and refurbishment work throughout the North West with project values up to £25 million.Ideally you will have experience of working for a regional or main contractor and be able to demonstrate previous successful tendering on similar new build work.  Applications are welcome from a construction or commercial background.

The successful candidate will be working within the existing Estimating Department, producing analytical tenders ranging in value up to approx £6 million. Previous experience of producing tenders from drawings and specification, Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works and Design and Build experience is desirable. With Partnering and Framework contracts forming a large portion of turnover, familiarity with these methods of procurement would be an advantage. General IT skills in MS Outlook and Excel required and Causeway Estimating software experience would also be preferable. Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise directly with both clients and designers is essential.
