Contracts Manager

Due to constant expansion, our client, a forward thinking international
main contractor has a new opportunity for a Contracts Manager, for a
large flagship BSF project on Merseyside. You will be responsible for
monitoring site teams in terms of progress and performance, for giving
advice on problems encountered and providing support in resolving
specific site difficulties and liaising with clients and key members of
the supply chain. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker,
from a main contracting background, with excellent commercial acumen
and possess the ability to see and act on opportunities to add value to
the organisation by increasing revenues or cutting costs. Ideally you
will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a ‘black’ CSCS

Our client is currently looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to
join their regional business. This long established and respected
contractor is based in the North West and covers contracts only in the
North of England. This role is to specifically oversee an account for a
long term client who has a variety of projects on site and coming up in
the future. These projects can be both new build and refurbishement
projects within the retail sector.

Ideally you will have a main contracting background and can show a
steady career development. You may be in a Project Manager role and
looking for the next step or undertaking a Contracts Manager role but
looking for a move where you have more autonomy and for position with
the potential to develop long term into higher senior management.
