Bid Managers

Our client, a leading national main contractor is looking for a Bid Manager. This role is very ‘hands on’ and the appropriate candidate will run their own tenders largely independently. You will be responsible for managing a team, both internal and external consultants, estimating, measurement, design and build, preparation of quality bid submission documents, attending interviews and participating in presentations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working for a similar main contractor, be commercially aware, the ability to work to project targets/deadlines, and have excellent communication and team management skills.

A well established and well respected top 10 contractor is currently looking for a Bid Manager to join their office in Manchester or potentially Liverpool.  You must have previous experience of bid management for a similar large contract and have a good knowledge of the North West market.  You will be responsible for managing bids from initial tender application through to contract award. You will also be responsible for overseeing the team of estimators and working along side the quantity surveyors and designers.  This is a rare opportunity to join an excellent team with further management opportunities.
